Special Secretary, Water Resources Department informed that advertisement has been made by OPSC for recruitment of 240 posts of AEE (Civil) and 41 AEE(Mechanical). Further, advertisement for 66 posts of JE(Civil) has been made by OSSC. Besides this, EIC (WR) has been requested to furnish memorandum for filling up of 1248 nos. of Group-C posts.

  • I. The process for recruitment for the remaining about 29,726 vacant positions in six Departments should be fast-tracked.

  • II. Departments are instructed to immediately process for early approval of the Empowered Committee.

  • III. The referral Departments of the Empowered Committee are requested to submit their views immediately.

  • IV. All steps must be taken to ensure advertisements of vacancies by 25th February 2024.

  • V. The process of recruitment should be monitored on a monthly basis.

  • VI. The GA & PG Department may consult with the CEO whether recruitment-related advertisements can be made during the model code of conduct period.

  • VII. The Departments should issue the appointment letters before 25th February 2024 in respect of recruitments, results of which have already been published.

  • VIII. GA & PG Department shall deploy ASOS to OSSSC for the smooth functioning of the Commission.
